Rosa wants to know what you want the future of gender equality to look like

The Future of Gender Equality in Northern Ireland and the UK

9.30 – 3.00pm, 5th March

Belfast

Rosa – the UK fund for Women and Girls – is inviting women’s organisations in Northern Ireland to tell us what you want the future of gender equality to look like. Take a step back and think about our future, meet the Rosa team and network with other women’s organisations in Northern Ireland.

Last year Rosa celebrated its tenth birthday. Along with some cake, candles and celebratory events we published a report looking back at what we had achieved over a decade in the women’s movement. We recognised there is still much to be done in tackling inequality that women in the UK face every single day.

Rosa is now looking to the future and at what our society could look like in ten years’ time. In particular, we’re looking at women’s work (paid and unpaid) and asking what could or should women’s work look like in the next decade? We are hosting a series of events across the UK and inviting women’s organisations to participate.

This is a brilliant opportunity for you to network with other organisations in Northern Ireland and ensure your ideas shape Rosa’s vision and programme of work in the coming years.

We hope you’ll be able to join us! Please do pass this on to any women’s organisations you think might be interested in attending.

The event will be facilitated by Rosa and is for women only. Lunch will be provided. We will reimburse any travel costs you might incur. If there are other costs you might incur which would prevent you from attending, please contact us to discuss. Places are limited and will be given on a first come first served basis. If the event fills up, we may limit places to one woman per organisation.

RSVP: anna@rosauk.org by 20th February with your name, organisation and any dietary or access requirements.
