Training Opportunities with NIRWN this Autumn

SELFIE Programme

Would you like to feel more confident, meet new friends and develop new skills then this is the programme for you?
NIRWN is offering you the opportunity to engage in a programme with an additional best practice visit and a residential. It will start the week beginning 21st September, 2020 in both Cookstown and Magherafelt; participants must reside in the Mid Ulster District Council area. The programme will be fun and include social activities, health and wellbeing workshops, inspirational guest speakers and will explore good relations and leadership skills.

Raise Your Voice
NIRWN is proud to be a partner in this innovative project dedicated to tackling sexual harassment and sexual violence across NI. If you are a group/community organisation who would like to host a workshop (expenses such as room hire contribution, travel, tea & coffee will be covered) then please let us know. Workshops can be held via Zoom also if that is your preference.

Crafting Conversations
A five week training programme giving rural womens' groups an opportunity to learn a new skill and produce an individual piece of craft and contribute to a larger group piece on an agreed feminist theme. Each session will look at a thematic area of gender justice such as; women's health; feminism; gender budgeting; ; sexual harassment; having a voice.
