Vodafone has launched charities.connected, an initiative giving UK charities the opportunity to apply for free data to help the communities they support.

The aim is to help individuals and families supported by charities to get online, as well as enable organisations to improve their own digital capacity. Registered charities of any size can apply. Complete a simple online application form, including information on how free connectivity will support the project and the number of people set to benefit. All applications will be reviewed and a decision to support made within 30 days. SIMs will be issued within 30 days of a positive decision and are ready for distribution from 1 September 2021.
