Siobhán continues to work as part of the Working Group for the Cliff Edge Coalition on strengthening the welfare mitigations package in Northern Ireland.  The focus of Cliff Edge work will now be on strengthening the mitigations package with some possible new mitigations around the two-child limit, the Universal Credit five-week wait and increased protections for those in the private rented sector.  Cliff Edge are pleased to see the publication of the Welfare Mitigation Review and its strong recommendations.  The recommendations of the Review mirror many of the strengthening asks of the Cliff Edge Coalition and work will be ongoing to try and push for the implementation of these new mitigations.
