NI Women’s Budget Group are delighted to share our upcoming 4 Nations Conference: Care, Women, and a New Economy, an event co-hosted by the NI Women’s Budget Group, the Wales Women’s Budget Group, the Scottish Women’s Budget Group, and the UK Women’s Budget Group, that will take place from Thursday 5th to Friday 6th of September 2024.
This conference will bring together experts, policymakers, and advocates to reflect on the current status of women’s economic equality across the four nations and explore the effective policy tools needed to drive transformational change. We hope to foster a platform for meaningful dialogue that will stimulate the implementation of gender budgeting approaches and to influence the new government’s investment plans on the care sector, in line with our shared aim to build a green caring economy across the four nations.
