Queen’s University Belfast, in collaboration with Derry Well Women and support from the Department of Health is conducting a survey to explore and compare the experiences of women in Northern Ireland accessing and using women’s health services.
The aim of the project is to listen to women in Northern Ireland (NI) about priorities for women’s health across the life course. The findings will be submitted to the Department of Health to help shape planning for women’s health across NI and inform the case for a long-term NI Women’s Health Strategy.
The aim is to explore:
- women’s health services provision
- women’s priorities for women’s health
- barriers to accessing health services and how could things be better
- how women’s voice is integrated into women’s health care services
women aged 16 or over, normally resident and/or accessing women’s healthcare services in Northern Ireland are invited to complete the survey. The survey can be accessed online here: http://go.qub.ac.uk/womenshealthni or via a QR code on the flyer attached or hard copies are available on request by emailing womenshealthni@qub.ac.uk
We would therefore be very grateful if you could distribute the attached flyer advertising the survey across your networks to relevant groups of women and other interested individuals who may also be willing to share the information.
We would also appreciate you displaying our recruitment flyer on any appropriate communal/public facing noticeboards. The recruitment flyer formatted for your printing however we can provide a printed copy as need be. Please reply to this email with the number of copies you require and a postal address for these to be mailed to.
