The Civil Society Alliance is a new project set up to empower civil society organisations from across the UK to scrutinise and influence constitutional, administrative and legal changes to the UK policy landscape.
The Civil Society Alliance provides a resource to build capacity, facilitate and coordinate the sharing of information, expertise, and concerns.
The first meeting took place via Zoom on Wednesday 16th March with representation by civil society organisations from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, including Paula McAliskey, Engagement Officer with NI Rural Women’s Network. The event was an opportunity to find out more about the new Civil Society Alliance project. The overarching aim of the project is to empower civil society organisations from across the UK to scrutinise and influence constitutional, administrative and legal changes to the UK policy landscape.
Membership of the Civil Society Alliance is open to any UK civil society organisation or group which is non- statutory, not for profit, non-party political and that subscribes to the principles of membership of the Civil Society Alliance.
