Following the Crushed by the Cost of Living event Siobhán and Karen from WSN have been working with Dr Ciara Fitzpatrick from Ulster University to arrange a Cost of Living Coffee Morning in Women’s Centre Derry on Tuesday 6th December 2022. Sinead Quinn from Derry Against Fuel Poverty, Ciara and Siobhán will be speaking briefly on the issues arising from the Crisis before providing a space for women to talk about their experiences and get some signposting and support. It is hoped that this will be the first in a series of Cost of Living Coffee mornings arranged in Women’s Centres across Northern Ireland to provide some solidarity for women, for them to know that none of this is their fault and to share their experiences.
