NIRWN celebrated Year one participants’ achievements at International Women’s Day at the Glenavon House Hotel, Cookstown on 7th March 2024.

NIRWN has supported over 187 women through tailored education and support to overcome barriers to employment and education. On the day as well as celebrating, those in attendance participated in facilitated workshops and development sessions and lots of craic and learning was had.

Women Breaking Barriers NI Project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

One of the key things about International Women’s Day is making connections and it is a key feature of our Women Breaking Barriers NI programme so a special thank you to all the organisations who joined us to share information on their services and support with all our participants.
