Alongside the draft Programme for Government a number of impact assessments have been drafted for consultation including an equality impact assessment, rural needs impact assessment and a child rights impact assessment. The draft Programme for Government aims to have wide reaching effects. It has the potential to impact on equality of opportunity and good relations, and upon people living in rural areas, and upon children and young people. The consultation would welcome views on how delivering this Programme for Government may affect any particular groups in society.
